Issue:
To topBuilt-in mic doesn’t seem to be working. End user cannot be heard during calls or meetings.
Resolution:
To top- Check the Audio settings of the application or software being used if either the built-in or headset mic can be found or not.
- Go to Windows Settings > System > Sound.
- Under Input device, find the mic being used and check if it can pick up any sound.
- If it doesn’t, click on Manage Sound Devices and verify if the selected mic is set to ‘Disabled’.
- If disabled, click ‘Enable’ to turn back on the device.
