Built-in Mic not working

Built-in mic doesn’t seem to be working. End user cannot be heard during calls or meetings.

  1. Check the Audio settings of the application or software being used if either the built-in or headset mic can be found or not.
  2. Go to Windows Settings > System > Sound.
  3. Under Input device, find the mic being used and check if it can pick up any sound.
  4. If it doesn’t, click on Manage Sound Devices and verify if the selected mic is set to ‘Disabled’.
  5. If disabled, click ‘Enable’ to turn back on the device.
